What’s up? Thanks for visiting!
As you may already know, my name is Briley and I’m 38 years old. If you’re here, it’s because you would like to know a little more about me.
I’ve always loved writing, even from a young age.
I also have a passion for technology and anything electronic — I love tinkering!
Over the years, I have built several custom computers for myself and others. I’ve also repaired a variety of devices like a Sony PSP, radios, cameras, tablets, phones, and more.
In my home, I have taken it upon myself to complete a host of DIY projects. For one of the first projects I did, I removed all the carpets (because they were nasty), then installed hardwood floors. It looks great!
I’m married to a beautiful woman named Gabrielle — who is also my best friend — and we have a bunch of pets, like dogs, cats, a bearded dragon and a rabbit. I’m a proud father of two, as well.
Why Did You Create This Site?
As a freelance writer, nothing is more important to potential employers than experience and published work.
I created it to serve as a professional portfolio. My goal is to showcase work by adding live links (which I’m sure will eventually end up broken) to any content I’ve published, written or helped others create.
I might also use this site to talk about ice cream because it’s awesome. Seriously, who doesn’t like ice cream?
If you’re lactose intolerant, I’m sorry.
What Are Your Skills?
I’ve been working as a freelance writer and entrepreneur for well over fifteen years now. I have part-time experience that stretches much further back, but I was not as established as I am now.
I built a full-time career out of my collective freelance projects. My friends hate me because I get to stay home and wear pajamas all day and for a long time they couldn’t. I suppose that’s understandable, but now all of that has changed. Remote work is huge. About time.
If you’d like to see examples of my writing, take a look at the published work page.
If you pay a visit to my portfolio you’ll find a list of all the long-term projects and publications I was involved with.
If you’d like to know more about my career or my achievements head back to the front page.
Tell Me Something Cool!
For a time, I was the VP of Operations for Colin Klinkert Dot Com LTD and Content Manager for Code 9 Media.
I think that’s pretty cool.
Oh, and my favorite color is red.
Thank you very much for reading!
